What a fun group of kids! I had such a good time taking their pictures and they were ALL so enthusiastic. So grateful to the Preschool for letting me in there to take pictures of their classes. Here is a groups of some of the superstars of 2014!!
Meet our new baby! Her name is Ollie Tigress (hah!). Her middle name is for her brindling and in honour of our big girl that we had to put down, Shasta Tigerlily.
She is 8 weeks old and calm, silly, friendly, and absolutely stunning. She has captured my husbands heart and has him completely wrapped around her paw, in only one day.
The kids absolutely adore her. She makes sure that everyone pays attention to her. Surprisingly she had a very quiet night, for a first night in a new home. This MAY have been because my husband snuck her into the bed to sleep next to him. Although how could I be upset when that little face is the one that greeted me?
You can be sure to see many many more pictures of this little girl as she grows up!
We had the luck to have a beautiful day all day, right until it started raining the minute we stepped outside to start taking pictures! Luckily it passed really quick and we managed to find some good spots around the University. I was fortunate to have been able to capture some really fun moments for this amazing young family. Thanks for the fun times!
What lucky kids, and what a lucky photographer! I had the immense pleasure of coming back to the preschool this spring for graduation photos. The kids as always were so much fun, and the school is definitely fantastic to work with.
Here are a few stars of the day!!!
I am so happy to be able to provide these images. After looking at my own sons "Spring" pictures from the big chain, I am once again reminded as to why I do this and why I spend so much time making a fool out of myself to get genuine smiles from the kids. I am sure they must all think I am the craziest person in the world, but its all worth it.
These two were way cute. Bubba is a big guy and his expressions just killed me. He always looks like he's smiling. Chico was just a tiny guy, and he LOVED the treats I brought. He actually pushed Bubba away to get the treats, and Bubba just lets him.
Ahhh Mexico... how I miss thee. It's taken me months to finish editing these images. Partly because I had a few technological hiccups, partly because it makes me depressed to see how green and warm it was. Its been an incredibly long winter, and spring has come... with more snow, clouds, rain, and very few days of sunshine and warmth.
Here's to hoping that one day it will be spring here!
A few more furry friends looking for their forever homes!
Sammie was just the smallest sweetest little guy. He was a little overwhelmed by the experience of being a model. With that said, my heart melted when I was sitting on the ground to take his picture and he crawled into my lap for some love. His foster family said the he is much more relaxed at home. I thought he was just adorable. Even though he was a bit timid he was still friendly and loved being held and petted.
Lucas was full of energy and curiosity. He loved being out in the park and was so excited to see everything. He was a very happy little guy, and his fur was so amazingly soft. He felt just like a little lamb, I couldn't get enough of petting him. He was a really nice size and would make a perfect addition to a family.
Please check out the rest of the adoptable dogs at Size Small Dog Rescue! Every dog that I've photographed from them have been so well mannered and friendly. I always look forward to taking pictures for them.
This tiny guy was under 6lbs, and just as cute as a button.
Isn't he just a gorgeous little thing? We managed to get him to sleep and catch a few more beautiful newborn details. Sleeping babies are the most peaceful looking. I especially adore the tiny toes and elbow dimples.
After all those pictures this little guy was just wiped out.
