A tie, an alley and a boy... or two.

So my dearest dear dear son decided that he and his brother should be wearing their fancy clothes. He has suddenly developed an interest in picking out his own outfits and shoes. This day it extended to his little brother as well. Since boys don't tend to have the nice things that girls do (for outfits at least) I humored him. He looks so handsome with a tie. 

I decided that since they were already all dressed up, since it was also a perfectly overcast day.. that photos were in order. I've been waiting for my oldest boys most atrocious haircut to finally grow out some (thank you husband, for that most special of haircuts). He now looks like a regular kid again, and less like the victim of a home haircut by stylist Dad. 

Debuting his once-again good looks. We walked down the alley by my parents house, much to my Mothers chagrin. She doesn't quite get why I would want to take pictures of my child down there, especially with him in his good clothes. Respect the process Mother, respect the process (hahaha).

Don't worry he wasn't that close to the box.

Boudoir with an awesome, beautiful woman.

This was my first boudoir and I am so so thrilled that I got to do this. We had a great time, lots of laughs and a bit of wine. I can't find all the right words today (too much time at home with kids I think) so I will leave you to check out a few of my favorite from this session that I love love love.

I am so so so thankful that I got this opportunity. I can't wait to do another! It is such a great confidence-building experience, I think every woman should consider it. 

Welcome to the renovation!!

I had a revelation today and just had to go crazy re-working the look of my page and other business related things. Slowly but surely I am getting my business worked out and hopefully in the next few months I will have it all put together and completely open!! In the mean time here are my NEW family photos and new profile pictures to go with the new look of "Shealaine Taylor Photography".

Late night share of my awesome little guy.

I just took these and processed them this evening. I thought I would rush to put them up because the boys are BOTH in bed, sleeping... at the same time. The stars must have aligned. My older boy was out with Grandpa and Grandma, so I had a moment to run out with my little guy for a quick snap. I wanted to make sure I got photos of him in his cute jacket before it is outgrown. 

He ran and ran and laughed the whole time we were out.

This is the face I usually get, when he graces me with a direct look. It doesn't happen often, but I have high hopes that in the future he will be just as interested in bribes as his older brother.

He's showing me his dirty hand, as he fell down and was quite insistent that I know it. He demonstrated a few more times how exactly he fell and why his hand was dirty.

Sweetest newborn! Almost 2 weeks old.

This little guys was a treat to photograph. He slept the entire time I was there, through all my handling and positioning. He was such a sweet guy it was hard to choose only a few pictures to show off here.

I temporarily lost my "baby hat" bag, but managed to put together some cute bunny ears. Just in time for Easter.

I love love love tiny baby armpits, much cuter than their adult counterparts. ;)

He must have a pretty good life.

Newborn- 6 days young.

Well this is the little guy that was in that belly from my last post! Isn't he adorable? He arrived a little early, turning plans for more maternity photos into a bust. However, what's better than maternity photos? Newborn photos of course!

Baby bump

My friend was so kind as to let me take pictures of her very nice baby bump. I can't wait to see this baby, but in the meantime the belly is way too cute.

What would a maternity photo session be without the famous "heart hands"... which is interestingly enough the cousin to the "jazz hand" wink wink.

I am in love with these in B&W.

Trust me, her face is just as gorgeous as the bump. :) But felt like I would limit my share to belly only pictures. Hope you enjoyed looking as much as I enjoyed taking them. Its such an awesome change to work with adults.
